This Privacy Policy describes how ViralFinder ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the ViralFinder mobile application ("Service").

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

Search Queries: The text you enter when searching for content trends. These are used to process your request and may be stored to provide search history functionality.
Onboarding Responses: Your selections during onboarding (experience level, content goals, audience info) are stored locally on your device to personalize your experience. This data is not transmitted to our servers.

Information Collected Automatically

Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for crash reporting and analytics.
Usage Data: How you interact with the Service, including features used and search frequency.
Push Notification Tokens: If you enable push notifications, we collect your device token to deliver search result notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or physical address.
We do not access your contacts, photos, camera, or microphone.
We do not collect location data.
We do not require account creation to use the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

To process and deliver search results and content analysis.
To send push notifications about completed searches.
To manage subscriptions and verify purchase status.
To improve the Service and fix issues.
To detect and prevent abuse or fraud.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate ViralFinder:

4. Data Storage and Security

Search results and request data are stored in Firebase Firestore (Google Cloud). We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

Onboarding preferences and search history are stored locally on your device using standard device storage.

5. Data Retention

Search results: Stored on our servers and may be periodically deleted.
Local data: Stored on your device until you delete the app or clear app data.
Subscription data: Managed by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat per their retention policies.

6. Disclosure of Your Data

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or government agency). We may also disclose your data in good faith if necessary to:

Comply with a legal obligation.
Protect and defend our rights or property.
Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service.
Protect the personal safety of users or the public.

If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may be transferred. We will provide notice before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

Request deletion of your data.
Opt out of push notifications via device settings.
Delete local data by uninstalling the Application.

The Service is not intended for children under 12. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 12. If you believe we have collected data from a child under 12, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

9. International Users

Your data may be processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States. For European Union users, mandatory provisions of your country of residence apply.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
